His

Sylvain believes life is about capturing moments and emotions. A self-taught 30-year video production veteran, he is passionate about storytelling and showing people the power of the cinematic experience. His musical background paired with an understanding of how to convey the essence of every project enables Sylvain to create an emotional response in the viewer all while staying true to client expectations.

Her

A Montreal native, Caroline brings a solid fine arts background to her cinematography. Always captivated by Sylvain’s work, his contagious passion for the craft intrigued her to join Reno Video Productions in 2008. This yoga enthusiast, former triathlete and lover of nature can also be seen cooking up a storm influenced from her world travels.

A husband and wife team who are in love with their craft as much as each other, Sylvain and Caroline are intuitive, easy-going and fun. The collaborative approach they take to every project has led to life long friendships with people who initially came into their lives just as clients. Committed to providing the best in customer service, the fluently bi-lingual pair prides themselves on seeing people in their happiest times.

FAQ's

How many cinematographers do you have? Are you able to split up?

We have 2 cinematographers to make sure all the important aspects of the shoot are covered but we don’t split up. This way the production value of your FILM is maintain throughout.

What is the payment structure?

The payments are broken up into 3 sections. The 1st one is $1500 to secure the date for our L’Essentiel options, 2nd deposit is due 1 month before your wedding, the 3rd is the final balance due upon completion of project.

Who chooses the soundtrack for the film?

We choose the music for you from our extensive library and pay the rights for it to be used on social media by our clients so they can share their film without any legal issues.

What style of film are you able to produce?

Whether it is just visuals set to music or telling the story with audio moments, our goal is to make YOUR cinematic experience the best possible.

Are you discreet when you shoot?

Discretion is of the utmost importance to us. We do more of a journalistic video approach and we always dress in black. If you need more guidance, we can offer our suggestions to make you more at ease.

When do I get the final product?

The final product will be delivered within 9 months. Each wedding documentary edit and film is uniquely different from one another. We do not use cookie cutter styles to cut any editing corners. Creating your unique wedding documentary edit and wedding film is a time consuming and lengthy process. Your wedding day may have been rushed but we want you and your loved ones to love watching the cinematic experience we have created for you for the rest of your life.

Simple, affordable but with the same beautiful cinematic images we are known for.

L’essentiel Wedding coverage includes:

8 or 12 hours consecutive coverage, 2 cinematographers,  Canon HD Full frame DSLR cameras. Includes excerpts from your day (approx. 60 minutes of documentary footage). These 1080p High Definition files are delivered within 9 months on a USB flash drive. You also get a 3 to 5 minute creative CINEMATIC FILM of your special day. We choose the right music for you and put it all together worry free 8hrs $3500 or 12hrs $4750

Add on options:

– $450 for every consecutive extra hour.

*please note: add parking fees and for out of Montreal area events add $350 for hotel cost.

 

Corporate Pricing | Corporate shoots can range in scope depending on hours, locations and equipment required.
